Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
Tour Description

Only 2 hours of driving through some of the most important agriculture region in the country, we arrive at La Fortuna and its main feature, the Arenal Volcano, emerging out of the San Carlos plains, showing its magnificence to all visitors and locals alike.

Walking the Arenal Volcano National Park Trails will be the first activity, along a 3 kilometers trail and a 2 hour hike through the area that was devastated by the last major eruption of the mighty mountain (1968). You will also have the opportunity to witness some of the present activity (depending on weather conditions), walk the 1992 lava flow and learn more about volcanoes in Costa Rica. After these activities you will enjoy a great lunch at one of the local restaurants in town with a view on the Volcano, followed by an afternoon visit to a Hot Springs Center, with ample time to relax your mind and body in these therapeutic volcanic hot springs surrounded by lush nature and humid forest. Relaxed and satisfied, we start the trip back to the hotel.
