Hanging Bridges
Tour Description

The geographical situation, the local weather, the temperature and rain fall of this privately owned Reserve, contributes in making of this ecosystem one of the most bio diverse of the Pluvial Life Zone, to the point of even providing endemic characteristics to several animal and flora species.

The trail will introduce you to this very interesting and rich ecosystem, as you walk through the forest and have the opportunity to observe a great amount of flora and fauna such as birds (the Tenorio area is home to some 350 species of birds out of the 820 found in the whole country), mammals, insects or even a Tapir, or at least its fresh footprints that are easily encountered during these hikes. The walk takes you over 3 hanging bridges that connect the 2.2 km trail, giving you a perspective of the forest that only Scientist used to be allowed, at over 50 meter height.
