Bird watchers and nature lovers shouldn’t miss this wetland ecosystem! Thousands of migratory birds pass through the Palo Verde National Park around the end of the rainy season. The park is bordered on the west by the Río Tempisque. A two-hour boat trip will bring us to this area, boasting crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and other fascinating wildlife.
