Palo Verde National Park
Tour Description

The hydrologic characteristics of the Tempisque River on the pacific slopes, created the conditions to form this wetland ecosystem (Ramsar site) of international importance, since many species of birds migrate through the Palo Verde National Park. It is an exceptional place for bird watchers and nature lovers at large. A 2 hour boat trip will introduce us to this area, boasting crocodiles, monkeys, iguanas and other fascinating wildlife, while an hour and a half drive will be needed to reach the Park from Bijagua. After the boat trip, lunch will be served in one of the local restaurants in the town of Bebedero before returning to your Lodge.

Duration: 10 hours approx.

Difficulty: Easy.

Minimum: 2 people.

What to bring: Hiking shoes, running shoes or sandals, binoculars, camera, sun block, mosquito repellent, money, sun glasses and hat.

What's Included: Lunch, water bottle, fruit juice, guide, transportation, and admission fee to the park and boat ride.
