"Picnic en el Río" is a significant day of actions in favor of the country's rivers and streams, aiming to redirect public attention towards them by undertaking various initiatives for their recovery and protection.

We are pleased to share with all of you the fantastic news of how the Hideaway Rio Celeste corporate social responsibility has had a positive impact on the community.

In December 2023, a reforestation activity was carried out within the property in collaboration with the Jícaro Danto organization.

We are excited to announce that our sustainability efforts have led us to create the Tapir Natural Reserve, protecting 30 hectares of the property to preserve the Tapir’s habitat.

The group meets at sunset to head out to explore our surroundings at nightfall. We have all heeded recommendations to wear walking shoes or boots and long pants and sleeves for our excursion. Our guide introduces himself as Johser Vargas, a naturalist guide from the area. Guests visiting from North America, Europe and one local all chime in. Flashlights are handed out and we head off.

I have visited Rio Celeste Hideaway a few times, always amazing experiences with friends as well as a romantic getaway. The intimate resort has something for everyone, you can be as active or as relaxed as you like. Hiking inside the Tenorio National Park, dips in the pool and Jacuzzi, massages at the spa, delicious meals at the restaurant and more. This trip was different; I was all by myself, and the quiet and time allowed me to appreciate things another way.
